Falcons completed the expedition on 15th Feb covered
9017 kms in 21 days.

The Falcons have crossed 6000 Kms and heading towards
Pune.

Three young men from Chennai on January 25 embarked
on a mission to spread awarness about mental illness
throughout the country. Kashmir was initially not on
their map as their families wer apprehensive about their
"fate" in this much known "volatile"
region.

The falcon team has reached Srinagar and their first
comment was “It’s a heaven on earth”.
They were escorted by the army all the way and the falcon
felt the place is so serene and peaceful.

Away on the roads, the Falcons just about 200 kms to
Jammu, have spotted a dhaba, Khala Bhakra, experiencing
the regional cuisine.

The HCL President, Mr. Vineet Nair, had discussions
with the Falcon Team about their expedition at their
Noida office. Later in the evening, the Falcons had
an interactive session with the HCL employees.

"At Gwalior "
The Falcon Flight team having crossed Hyderabad &
Nagpur as schedule arrived at Gwalior. They stayed at
Gwalior as against the plans to stay at Jansi. The team
was warmly received and hosted by the Rotary, Birla
Nagar. Later, the Falcon Team made a presentation on
mental illness and India Vision 2020 at Hotel Landmark
Having made the presence felt, the team moves to touch
other locations and hearts. It was heartening to see
Vipan J Gupta, a student who volunteered to distribute
the phamphlets to the college students.

Commissioner flags off " Falcon Flight 2006"
R. Nataraj, Commissioner of Police ,Greater Chennai,flagged
off 'Falcon Flight,' a three - member driving expedition
to bring to focus the plight of women with mental illness.
Wishing the team a highly successful journey, he recalled
the examples of Adi Sankar, Vevekananda and Mahatma
Gandhi, who travelled the length and breadth of the
country and saw India as one. "I am happy these
youngsters have taken up the mission to see what is
India."
