This initiative is planned as an expedition on road by the “Falcon team” that will cover the length and breadth of India over a period of 3 weeks starting January 25, 2006. The primary objective will be to spread the message of awareness on mentally ill women, the problems they face in society, the lack of support groups that they can depend on, how families and society in general can care for them, and the work of The Banyan among this very underprivileged section of our society. The secondary focus of the expedition will be on capturing the vignettes of urban and rural India that depict the transformation of India towards the "Vision 2020" of our President. Eventually, we are planning publication of these photos as a travelogue with the same theme on both print and the internet media.
